Collection: Colin John Staples

Colin is a self-taught artist with a focus on the philosophy of shedding the ego. His primary subject is portraiture in acrylic. Much of his work is completed in one sitting which gives each piece lively freedom within the time limit. "I observe my ego move out of the way and let the image create itself. These I feel are my best works so my journey in art is getting out of the way and allowing my soul freedom to paint another's."
